Professor Ye Xiaojing's research mainly focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of emotions and memory, revealing the gender specific response effects of meningeal lymphatic vessels to stress and their important roles in the occurrence and development of depression like and anxiety like behaviors; Discovering the crucial role of the direct neural circuit from the dorsal hippocampus to the medial prefrontal cortex in memory regulation; The discovery of the spatiotemporal coordination of multiple signaling molecules is crucial for the formation, enhancement, and generalization of emotional memory.
