Huang Yan, M.D., Associate Professor and master Supervisor of Sun Yat-sen School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Parasitology Society, editorial board member and deputy director of editorial Department of Journal of Tropical Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Public Health of Sun Yat-sen University. Presided over and participated in research projects of National Key Research and Development Program, National Key Basic Research Program, National Natural Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Provincial Science and Technology Program, etc. His research work has published 68 SCI papers in important international journals in related fields (Genome Biology, PLoS Pathogens, PLoS Neglected Tropical Disease, Parasites & Vectors, etc.). Among them, the first author or corresponding author of 24 papers. Won the second prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress in 2017, the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2017, the second prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award in 2018, the second prize of Chinese Medical Association in 2008, and applied for 3 national invention patents.
