Personal Profile
Guo Kaihua, Professor and Master's Supervisor, works in the Department of Human Anatomy of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. He obtained a Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1997 and a Master's degree in Human Anatomy and Histology and Embryology from Sun Yat-sen University in 2003. Subsequently, he has been working at the university since then. In 2010, he received a Doctor's degree in Human Anatomy and Histology and Embryology from Sun Yat-sen University.
Research Field: Pathogenesis and treatment of degenerative diseases of the central nervous system. The current main research direction is the function and mechanism of nestin protein expression in mature neurons of the basal forebrain.
He has successively presided over and participated in a number of national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, published several scientific research papers, and won the second prize of the Young and Middle-aged Teachers' Teaching Competition of Sun Yat-sen University twice.
