Medical Doctor, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology, Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, Master's Supervisor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Obtained a Bachelor of Clinical Medicine degree from Capital Medical University in 2005 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Department of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology, Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University in 2010. Serves as an Associate Editor of BMC Anesthesiology, a member of the Executive Committee of the Immunotherapy Branch of the Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Society, and a member of the Professional Committee of the Guangdong Anti-Cancer Association. Also serves as a member of the editorial board for the accompanying "Study Guide and Exercise Book" of the "Pharmacology" textbook published by People's Medical Publishing House. Won the first prize in the National Young Teachers' Teaching Competition organized by the Chinese Pharmacological Society.

Research Areas
The research field is oncopharmacology. The main research directions include basic research and new drug clinical translation of oncolytic virus therapy and induced differentiation therapy for solid tumors.

Main Findings

  • Identified immune suppressive cell subtypes and functional molecules that impede the antitumor effect of oncolytic virus M1, and discovered M1 potentiating drugs based on the above mechanisms.
  • Proposed the metabolic reprogramming mechanism of the reverse Warburg effect in the differentiation of malignant glioma, discovered new intervention targets and drugs.
  • Deciphered the histone acetylation code of malignant glioma differentiation and discovered induced differentiation combination drug strategies based on the chromatin remodeling mechanism.

Has received support from more than 10 projects, including 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 major special project of applied scientific research of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and 4 Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects.

Has published more than 60 SCI research papers (as the first or co-first author in 11 papers, and as the corresponding or co-corresponding author in 13 papers), which were published in journals such as Oncogene, Cell Reports, International Journal of Cancer, Molecular Oncology, Cell Death & Disease, Human Gene Therapy, etc. Contributed to the writing of 2 English monographs on brain tumors.
