Personal Profile

Graduated from the Clinical Medicine program at Anhui Bengbu Medical College in 1985 and worked in the Anatomy Teaching and Research Section of Bengbu Medical College. Obtained a master's degree in Anatomy from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1995. Worked in the Anatomy Teaching and Research Section of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1998. Served as the deputy director and party branch secretary of the Anatomy Teaching and Research Section in 1999. Appointed as the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Basic Medical College in 2005. Promoted to professor in 2006, serving as the executive vice editor-in-chief of the Journal of Sun Yat-sen University (Medical Edition). He is a master's and doctoral supervisor in Human Anatomy and Neurobiology. Served as a visiting professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006. Awarded the title of Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (UK) in 2010.
