Several research papers have been published as (co-) first/corresponding authors in other journals.
He has presided over a number of teaching quality engineering and teaching reform projects of Guangdong Province and Sun Yat-sen University, and served as the editorial board of several planning textbooks. He is a key member of Guangdong Province's first-class courses \"Basic Anatomy\" and \"Clinical Anatomy\". He is also the executive director and deputy Secretary-General of the Anatomy Society of Guangdong Province, the executive director of the Association of Popular Science Writers of Guangdong Province, the director of the Brain Development and Encephalopathy Prevention and Treatment Society of Guangdong Province, the editorial director of Anatomical Research and the reviewer of several Chinese and English journals.
Academic achievement
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a kind of progressive neurodegenerative disease, mainly characterized by progressive memory loss and cognitive impairment. The etiology and pathogenesis of AD have not been clarified so far, and there are no accurate biological diagnostic indicators and anti-AD drugs with satisfactory efficacy.
Experimental study on the treatment of AD with natural medicine:
Aiming at the important role of Aβ in the pathogenesis and pathological mechanism of AD, AD targeted by Aβ was treated. A series of studies were conducted on the mechanism of the effect of rhizarine, an effective ingredient extracted from natural plants, on the toxicity of Aβ. The effects of rhizarine on neuroinflammation and autophagy were observed, and the efficacy and possible mechanism of rhizarine in the prevention and treatment of AD were confirmed.
Studies on molecular markers of AD:
The search for effective molecular markers for early diagnosis is of great significance in the early diagnosis and treatment of AD. By integrating bioinformatics methods into the study, the association between specific intestinal flora and AD and related molecular markers were preliminarily discovered. It lays a foundation for early diagnosis and early intervention of AD.
