Personal Introduction
Zhang Subo, Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. He is a talent introduced by Sun Yat-sen University and an Yixian Scholar of Sun Yat-sen University. In 2016, he obtained a Bachelor of Clinical Medicine degree from Sun Yat-sen University, and in 2021, he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the same university. From 2021 to 2024, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University, with Researcher Huang Huilin as his co-supervisor. In 2025, he took up a position at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University.
He mainly engages in research on the epigenetic mechanisms and functions of RNA, with a particular focus on its roles in the progression of malignant tumors and the regulation of the nervous system. Relevant research achievements have been published as the first author (including co-first author) or corresponding author in high-impact journals such as Nature Cell Biology and Nature Communications.
