Personal Introduction
Huang Chaofeng, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. In 2003, he graduated from the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and obtained a Ph.D. in Genetics. In 2004, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in the United States; since 2009, he has served as an Assistant Researcher in the Nutrition Immunology Laboratory at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging; he was recruited by Sun Yat-sen University in March 2010. Main research directions: 1. The mechanism and clinical application of the regulation of Th17 cell differentiation and functional activity. 2. Exploration of the clinical application of immune cell therapy technology in anti-tumor and autoimmune diseases. In recent years, he has cumulatively published more than 30 papers in professional journals such as Nature Immunology and Journal of Immunology, applied for and obtained more than 10 invention patents, and applied for 1 PCT international patent which has entered multiple countries and regions. He has presided over a number of national natural science funds and major scientific research projects at the provincial and municipal levels, including general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Science and Technology Program, and Guangzhou Special Project for Foreign Scientific and Technological Cooperation, with a total funding of more than 4 million yuan.
